The human being has many
needs. One of these is the need to experiment. Hence, I
am draw to the use of natural materials like earth, sand
and stone. Then come the growing need for freedom of
expression, without following any preordained schema. The
third need is to pay heed to everything which concerns
emotion, feeling and perception. More than representing
an object or concept. I am fascinated by expressing all
that these arouse. This is why I seek to translate and
liberate the vast, inextricable and impalpable,
transcendental and emotional world. By emotion, I
do not simply mean that thrill which enters
the core of our being, but also all that it is possible
to capture, which remains indefinable, all those nuances
which are prompted by intuition but escape reason. Art is
a need, a necessity. The light blue sped away, pursued by an

She did not remember where she had seen her before, but
had certainly met. The sand fell slowly but steadily. A
band of light came in to preferring to continue to touch
it. With the tips of her fingers she made the grains flow
in the desired direction. The shadows seemed soft.
Sometime, she would have liked to throw a handful into
the air let it fall in a random pattern. The red had
faded into pale pink and the grey easily enveloped it.
She plunged in her fist and seized a handful. She laid a
little, in stages, around the white, heaved a sigh, put
out the light and left.
